Stories have been going non-stop on The Walking Dead Season 5, and something else has been released that will make fans want to get to their television screens the second the premiere begins.

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Zombies Will Be Worse Than All The Others?

On Tuesday, TV Line posted some information on the premiere that came from showrunner Scott M. Gimple who mentioned that the episode will feature "the most intense six minutes" in the show's history.

"It gets very intense very quick, very terrifying very quick," Gimple added.

Rick Will Bring Out His 'Brutal Side' In Season 5?

He also mentioned how the gang is back and they are not in for an easy ride.

"All of these people have had really different journeys to Terminus, and, as a result, they're different people than they were," Gimple said. "It's decidedly more intense than coming back to high school after summer vacation."

While the intensity gathers up, there's also the possibility that Rick and Michonne might end up bringing something romantic together. The showrunner didn't say that this would happen, but he didn't say it wouldn't either, which ought to give viewers something to ponder over.

"The importance of who they are to each other grows, and that emotional intimacy gets developed even more," Gimple said. "That doesn't necessarily mean [it will turn into a] romance."

Something else is about to take place on the show as well that could be confusing yet thrilling.

"The premiere plays with time in some interesting ways," Gimple said. "The characters' storylines crisscross in the timeline."

The Walking Dead Season 5 will premiere on Sunday, October 12 on AMC.
