Is Lady Mary Going To Confess Something To Anna?

The clip that was released on Monday starts off with some theatrical piano music in the background as Lady Edith says that she has a secret...about secrets. The Dowager shows up in this same scene where odds are likely that Edith is going to make a confession about the mysterious baby.

Also, Thomas will be harassing Miss Baxter for more information where a scary part of him comes out. There are also moments of saving someone from a fire that could lead to an act of heroism.

Lady Anstruther also touches Jimmy in an inappropriate way giving some insight on how that connection is going to go. And speaking of connections, Lady Mary opens up the door to Lord Gillingham as if his arrival is something spontaneously heated.

According to an article from Mirror, Gillingham and Mary might have themselves a weekend filled with sex because Mary is reportedly going to ask her maid to buy her some contraceptives. But apparently, Anne won't approve of this because she thinks Gillingham should be the one making the move. But based on the trailer, it looks like he may end up doing just that.

Downton Abbey Season 5 will premiere in the United States on Sunday, January 4 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS.
