With less than a week left until Banshee returns, more details have been exposed on what's coming next.

On Saturday, GamerHub TV posted an interview with writer Jonathan Tropper who said that the third season will be "complicated" especially with Lucas and Carrie moving into different paths.

"Lucas and Carrie have gone their separate ways," Tropper said. "They're dealing with the fallout of the decisions they've made."

The writer then mentioned that Chayton is coming back to create a giant mess of chaos. There will also be some characters figuring themselves out, which will likely have dire consequences.

"[Chayton's] going to unleash a whole new kind of hell on the streets of Banshee, and with him coming back, you have Lucas and Proctor on separate paths both trying to figure out if they still have to be the men they are if they can evolve into something else," Tropper said. "And of course, the sad answer is on our show you're going to have to be who you are and a lot of people are going to die while figuring that out."

Tropper also revealed that the characters are going to have emotional disputes while fighting some new villains.

"The stakes are a little higher emotionally for our characters and it's a little more of a complicated season," the writer shared. "And at the same time, we've really upped the ante on our action set pieces and on the villains that come in to replace Rabbit, there's a lot of fun surprises coming."
