Bates Motel is about to take its level of creepiness to a whole new level based on the latest trailer for Season 3.

Chatter On 'Bates Motel' Season 2

Released on Wednesday, the trailer shows a good haul of eeriness going on- not so much in the violence, but in Norman's relationship with his mother, Norma. They've always been close, but their connection becomes a little 'too' friendly.

Norman takes pleasure in holding onto his mother's clothes to the point where he seems like he's reaching his teenage hormonal phase all over again. Plus, he sleeps in the same bed with her, something that other people are realizing is a little strange.

Obviously the mother and son don't see the weirdness and Norma actually does something gracious for her son- she wants him to become the manager of the motel.

This is when things take on a bizarre turn when Norma undresses for her son and he places a hand on her bare shoulder as if they're about to embark upon some serious incestual romance. And it appears that that's going to continue since the 18-year-old does the typical Norman Bates trademark by watching women undress in other rooms. But before it's Marion Crane, it's his mother he watches.

Norman is going to bring out some other disturbing tendencies when he pulls out a knife and watches a bird bleed.

It's like what his mom says in Psycho: "We all go a little mad sometimes."
