Prosecutors met in court to resume the murder trial against former NFL star Aaron Hernandez and witnesses are being called to the stand to testify against him. Last week it was reported that Hernandez's fiancée Shayanna Jenkins, would testify against him, and now it looks like her uncle is doing the same.

Prosecutors Find New Evidence In Aaron Hernandez Murder Case

On Wednesday Jenkins's uncle, Azia Jenkins, testified that on the day he was notified about Odin Lloyd's death, Hernandez said, "my endorsements are gone."

Yahoo Sports reported that on June 18, 2013, Azia was leaving Hernandez's house in the afternoon when police questioned him in the driveway.

Azia said that after he traveled to the police station, he returned to Hernandez's home and the former Patriots player wanted to know what the police had asked him.

According to Azia, Hernandez didn't elaborate on what he meant when he was talking about his endorsement deals, but he says he was, "cool, calm and collective."

Azia may not be the only witness in the family testifying against Hernandez. Prosecutors are hoping to receive a testimony from Hernandez's fiancée very soon.

Last week, TMZ Sports reported that Shayanna has been caught lying to grand jury 29 times and persecutors think she could have helped her fiancé get rid of the alleged murder weapon.

Jenkins was offered immunity in exchange for her testimony, and she could possibly hurt her fiancé's case.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and he currently remains in the jail without bail.
