The Originals doesn't return for another week, but that hasn't stopped the cast and crew from filming some "ferocious" new scenes.

On Friday actor Joseph Morgan, known for playing the charmingly but deadly hybrid Klaus, teased on Twitter that Klaus will be facing a lot of witches later this season.

Finn & Klaus Could Be Brokering Some Back-Alley Deals On 'The Originals' 

Back on Feb. 18 Morgan had tweeted about Klaus "meeting a witch in a graveyard" and so his latest message suggests that the graveyard meeting did not in fact go well.

Considering the fact that half of Klaus' family are now witches, it's uncertain whether the hybrid's intention for mass murder is generalized or in fact a form a homicide. Will he go after his family? Or are other witches moving in to take control?

All season long Klaus has shown that he is willing to do anything in the name of protecting his daughter, even if his sense of justice is deeply misplaced. This has put him at odds with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who believes there are other ways to protect their child.

The Originals returns on The CW for the remainder of its second season Monday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
