Fans of the popular crime series Longmire now have another opportunity to appear on the show.

On Monday KRQE News 13 announced a casting call for the series. The call seeks African American, Asian American, Native American, and Caucasian men and women between the ages of 18 and 99.

Those who serve as extras are also welcome to bring their children.

The broad range of people requested for production suggests a lot of public scenes. Perhaps the extras will be used for big town events, or merely just in the background during local trips made by Walt (Robert Taylor) and his team.

The extras are required for production for the first week in April, which means these large-scale scenes will be featured early on in the premiere.

Longmire fans feared permanent cancellation back in 2014 after A&E dropped the drama following its third season. The series lingered in limbo for months as viewers campaigned for its revival and in November their wish was granted when Netflix picked up the program. Soon thereafter, writers returned to work mapping out the show's new installment.

With a longer running time and the elimination of censorship, viewers can expect a few changes as the show settles into its new home.

Production is officially set to begin by the end of the month.

Longmire will likely return for a fourth season on Netflix during the later half of 2015.
