The picture proved to be a special treat for Taylor's fans, especially since the actor has no social media accounts of his own. Stepehsn also warned that "it's gonna be a long season" as she posted a photo of Cassidy Freeman (Cady) and Adam Bartley (The Ferg) goofing around together after months spent apart.

On a more serious note, director TJ Scott confirmed on Twitter Monday that he will be back to direct the second episode of season four, entitled "War Eagle." The episode was written by Tony Tost and Scott even shared a photo of the cover page as he celebrated the big return.

It looks like everyone excited to be back and things are officially underway in Santa Fe, where production is expected to continue over the next few months.

Longmire will return for a fourth season on Netflix sometime this fall.
