In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Shia LaBeouf, spoke about working on Transformers.

Transformers 5 Sticking To 2016 Release Date?

The publication caught up with the actor at Tribeca 2015, where the actor was promoting Alma Har'el's documentary, LoveTrue, on which he is an executive producer.

While talking about the re-enactments in the documentary, which are portrayed by the real subjects, LaBeouf brought up his experience working on Transformers and how he made the "alternate universe" believable with the help of director Michael Bay.

"Bumblebee never sounds real, it's just a f-ing name. The name alone you can never make real, no matter how much you put into it, because on the other side, you have a director who doesn't believe it either," he said. "So when you work with certain directors who give over and do something that's presentational and you both believe it, then there is no f-ing around, and you really are in this alternate universe."

What We Know So Far About Transformers 5

There have been rumors about the original cast of the Transformers series i.e. LaBeouf and Megan Fox returning to star in the fifth instalment. But LaBeouf had been wishywashy about the whole thing.

In a previous interview LeBeouf was ambiguous about his return, first stating that he would interested in returning but was very doubtful of the fact that would happen. He also contradicted himself and said that he would do another Michael Bay movie but not Transformers.

"It would be good to do another film but I doubt with the new changes since the third film that Megan could return you know, it might be a love war if me or Rosir both return you know its not that i don't think about it," he said. "But no, I highly doubt I'll be back for another one. I'll do another Michael Bay film but not Transformers."
