The post-apocalyptic drama won't find it's way in the CW schedule until midseason.

The news comes straight from the network's Thursday upfronts where CW president Mark Pedowitz laid out the fall schedule for advertisers. Although Clarke and Co. won't return until the spring, viewers will be treated to a mostly uninterrupted third season.

"Whether we run 13-straight or not, we'll have all 13 or 16 episodes we need to run as we require it, but yes we'll be pretty much going non-stop," Pedowitz told HitFix.

The announcement caused a little discord amongst The 100 but the series' creative minds quickly hopped on twitter to alleviate any fears regarding filming dates and Comic-Con appearances.

"Good things come to those who wait, right? All we can say is... Get excited for 2016," The 100 Writers Room tweeted while writer Aaron Ginsburg reconfirmed that The 100 will start filming in July and will still be attending San Diego Comic-Con.
