There's still a little wait time for fans who want the first real glimpse at season 6 of The Walking Dead with a trailer that shows them what to expect, but new photos seem to indicate that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and co. will still find themselves facing some danger, even within the walls of Alexandria.  

Michael Cudlitz Teases That Season 6 Premiere Will 'Blow' Fans' Minds

Entertainment Weekly scored exclusive images from the new season which seem to show Daryl (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yuen) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) armed and ready to do battle, despite being inside Alexandria.  

Daryl doesn't appear to be too much danger in his photo, which shows him with his crossbow once again hanging over his shoulder, as he stands in the woods. However, considering the drama that enveloped the group at the end of the 5th season, with their very livelihoods in Alexandria nearly at stake, he may need to think quickly and get ready to battle.  

Will Rick & Morgan Be On Opposing Sides In Season 6?

Though he might not be in immediate danger however, Glenn and Maggie may both be different stories. The engaged pair, who met and fell in love after the apocalypse happened, are both seen in separate shots with their guns drawn--and Maggie appears to also still be within the walls of the city. Despite having her weapon drawn, she still appears to be in good condition--though the same can't necessarily be said for Glenn, who seems to be in the woods.  

Glenn appears to have several cuts and other injuries on his face--which may indicate the danger he could have faced.  

The trailer for the season debuts at San Diego Comic Con on July 10. The new season premieres in October.
