It’s possible the two guys could have remained cordial despite having dated the same woman. But Meek took away that possibility when he threw shade at the up-and-coming rapper.
It all started when Samuels implied that he was banned from the BET Awards that was taped and aired live this past Sunday. Many fans believed that Nicki didn’t want Samuels there because she would be attending with Meek.

Well now, Meek is speaking out and he not only denied keeping Samuels away from the highly anticipated awards show, he sneak dissed him as well.
While on Sway’s Universe recently he said, “I don’t get people banned. That’s like calling the cops on people and [stuff] like that. But what we gotta get him banned from the BET Awards for? He ain’t never been at the BET Awards by himself. I don’t even think he was invited.”
It’s true that Samuels has definitely had his share of attending the BET Awards. But at the time, he and Nicki were going strong in their more than a decade relationship. While together, Samuels was often referred to as Nicki’s hype man. In fact, the two stayed quiet about their relationship until they split and went their separate ways. Then they both went on interview rounds and explained their sides of their romance.
