It was recently revealed that Kelli Giddish got married to Lawrence Faulborn earlier this summer and is also pregnant!

Serial Killer Greg Yates To Return In Season 17 Premiere 

E! Online reported that Giddish had kept the great news under wraps for quite some time. Although the publication states that everything will be on track with filming of season 17 of Law & Order: SVU, we wonder how Giddish's pregnancy might affect her character arc. Giddish, who plays Amanda Rollins in the show, is definitely going to return for the next season but would she be missing for some episodes on account of her pregnancy? Also, if they are filming while she is pregnant, will Giddish's condition be written in to her character's in the show?

The actress had also spoken to E! Online earlier this year about her storyline in season 17. She suggested that Rollins was going to deal with some major issues in the next chapter, specifically the dangerous pitfall of detective life: getting obsessed with a certain case to the point of detriment.

Will Nick Amaro Return In Season 17?

"Rollins, I think it's so cool to really see her get enveloped by a case and maybe a subject. I think maybe you'll see her become a little obsessed with that," Giddish said.

Season 17 of Law & Order: SVU will premiere on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. (ET).

The finale for season 16 of Law and Order SVU aired on May 20.
