Jenelle Evans is convinced her new boyfriend, David Eason, is a "gentleman," despite his questionable past.

Following news of David Eason's mulitple arrests, and time behind bars, a source has revealed the Teen Mom 2's star's true feelings about her new man.

"She's telling friends he's not a bad guy. He's a sweetheart and he makes her so f---ing happy," a source close to Evans told Radar Online on Monday. "He's a true southern gentleman."

According to the report, Eason served time behind bars for charges of breaking and entering, drug paraphernalia possession, larceny and injury to property, and was released in January of this year after serving about 6 months in prison.

Even though his past isn't ideal, Eason has reportedly won over Evans with sweet gestures, including the one described below.

"He hung up a picture for her with lights because she mentioned before she went to the gym that she wanted it done. Her jaw dropped when she got home and saw it. And he was making her dinner," the source said. "Chicken Alfredo with onions and peppers and green beans because it is her favorite. He made his own version and she loved it. She says that it has been pretty awesome having help around the house... It's all good because life is perfect since she moved and she is stress free."
