The Flash has a Christmas present for the West family.

The rouges are ready to suck the joy out of Central City this holiday season, but the return of the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and the Trickster (Mark Hamill) will be overshadowed by the introduction of none other than Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).

Kid Flash has been alluded to twice thus far, and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) will finally get to meet his son in episode 9, "Running to Stand Still."

"When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold and James Jesse AKA The Trickster out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas," The CW teased. "Meanwhile, Joe and Iris (Candice Patton) meet Wally West."

Canonically, Wally is Iris' nephew, but DC decided to give the familiar tale a whole new twist when they brought an ailing Mrs. West back into the picture. As of "Gorilla Warfare," Joe remained ignorant of his second child's existence. It is unknown if Iris will tell her father about Wally before the holidays, although we know the secret is eating her up on the inside.

"Keeping this secret is not going to be so easy and it's going to be weighing on [Iris] before she finally decides to take some action in an upcoming episode," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told IGN.

"Running To Stand Still" will air on Dec. 8.
