Irwin dominated the latest season of Dancing With the Stars with her pro partner Derek Hough, and while the competition may be over, they've already seen each other away from the ballroom. This week, Hough flew out to the Australia Zoo where Irwin works with her family.

Irwin was asked by Entertainment Tonight about what she misses most about Dancing With the Stars, with the conservationist admitting that she misses Hough most.

"I miss you the most," Irwin told Hough. "It was a long time and then all of a sudden you get home and you're like, 'My big brother isn't here anymore.' It was really quite strange for sure."

Irwin helped pay tribute to her late father, Steve Irwin, during her time on the show. This helped fuel her throughout the competition.

"Dad forever lives with me and I think it's the same for myself and my whole family," Bindi revealed. "No matter where I go in life, I think his strength and determination is what keeps me going."

Bindi hopes to continue inspiring others as she moves forward.

"I think that this whole experience has been so wonderful. And for the rest of my life, I will try to be able to inspire people by sharing my own personal experiences, and I think that that's kind of what we've done as a family for years and years," she said.

Meanwhile, Hough is now on a break from Dancing With the Stars but he does not know if he's returning for season 22 in the spring.

"I honestly don't know," Hough said, when asked about a return. "We're still trying to figure things out right now."

Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
