Having both your mom and dad while growing up as a kid is one of the most important and simplest thing in life.

But somehow, it's different with the Kurek kids, whose mom has been away from them for seven months because of medical training in the army. Unlike other kids who grew up with their mommy, they only get to see her if she takes a vacation leave.

So when mom, Elise, took the time off from training and decided to go home to her family, she surprised her  two kids by picking them up from school at Valley View Elementary School in Rockford, MI.

The kids, who never had any idea of what was happening, was so surprised to see their mom in school. They thought she will be coming home a little bit late in the evening.

Her son who saw her immediately, ran towards her and hugged while her daughter couldn't help but squeal in delight to see mommy home.
