Netflix recently announced premiere dates for the spring TV season--and Bloodline was curiously not on the list.

Everything We Know So Far About 'Bloodline' Season 2

At the TCA press tour last weekend, Netflix revealed their list of new and returning shows premiering this spring on their streaming service. The list included favorites like House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, plus the second seasons of shows like Grace and Frankie, Marvel's Daredevil and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

But Bloodline was not among the announced premieres. This is odd considering the first season premiered last year on March 20, and Netflix likes to bring back shows for new seasons at the same time every year.

'Bloodline' Creators 'Frustrated' By Critics Not Giving It A Chance?

With the lack of premiere date, we should probably expect Bloodline season 2 to premiere in the summer or potentially the fall at this rate. Netflix has already promised that season 2 will air in 2016, so there is that at least. Star Ben Mendelsohn recently spoke with Deadline about being in the middle of filming.

The actor stated they are "just over half way" filming on the second season of Bloodline, adding, "What can I say about it? Not much. Strap on your seat belt again. That's all I can say."

He also spoke about how the show will evolve with his character, Danny.

"I think that in a lot of ways the entire situation with Danny is really like a prologue. These guys, the show creators, they're kind of masters at the art and they will unfurl something pretty special," he said.
