Two upcoming episodes of ABC's Castle will essentially serve as companion pieces for each other.

The 13th and 14th episodes of Castle's current eighth season will reportedly flow well together - according to a new TVLine report. And the 14th episode will feature a road trip to Los Angeles for Castle (Nathan Fillion), Alexis (Molly Quinn) and Hayley (Toks Olagundoye).

In the mean time, ABC has released plot synopses for the next three episodes of Castle, which air Monday the 8th, Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th, respectively.

Episode 9, titled "Tone Death" comprises of the following:

"When a body is found in the theater of Martha's latest show, Castle and Beckett's investigation leads them into the unexpectedly dangerous world of competitive a cappella. 'High School Musical's Corbin Bleu guest stars."

Then in episode 10, titled "Witness for the Prosecution", Castle is taking the stand for an important case.

"Castle finally gets his day in court when he takes the stand as the key witness to a murder from five months ago," the synopsis reads. "But when new information suddenly arises, he and Beckett must race against the clock to prevent a miscarriage of justice."

Finally, episode 11, titled "Dead Red", features Castle involving himself with Russians.

"The son of a Russian diplomat is murdered; during the investigation, Castle entertains a jovial Russian security guard, who turns out to be more involved in the case than expected."

Castle season 8 returns for its midseason premiere on Monday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
