Between their family history, attention surrounding their relationship and personalities, it only makes sense for Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian to get their own Keeping Up With The Kardashians spinoff. But something is standing in their way.

An insider told Us Weekly Wednesday that because Kardashian stopped taping with his family in 2013, he’d have to make an appearance on that show before being able to snag his own series with his girlfriend.

“They’re talking about doing their own reality show,” the source said of Kardashian and Blac Chyna. “They ‘d need to see him film on ‘Keeping Up’ first.”

Contrary to what most might think, Kris Jenner is all for it.

“Kris Jenner would totally get behind this. If it takes Blac Chyna to help Rob rejoin life, Kris will be on board.”

Of course they’ll have to get through another snag—Kylie Jenner—before starring in their own series. Kylie is currently dating rapper Tyga who made several appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians the last season. Tyga was once engaged to Blac Chyna and the two have a child, King Cairo, together.

The source confirmed, “There will have to be an awkward talk with her beforehand.”

Still, it’s no secret that Blac Chyna has already been an influence on Kardashian. He reportedly has already lost 40 pounds since they started dating, which has caused his famous family to support their relationship.

“They think this might get him out of his funk.”
