Jennifer Lopez has reportedly reconnected with former MLB star Alex Rodriguez following his recent breakup from longtime girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, according to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter.

Stylecaster reported that Lopez and Rodriguez dated from 2017 until their split in 2021, which was clouded by cheating rumors involving Rodriguez. Despite the past, sources say Rodriguez never fully got over Lopez and feels a strong affection toward her.

"Alex never fully got over Jennifer," an insider said. "The relationship meant everything to him, and once he became single again, reaching out felt inevitable." Another source added that Rodriguez misses Lopez's presence in his life but acknowledges the complicated history between them.

Lopez, currently navigating life after her second marriage to actor Ben Affleck ended in divorce, is reported to be in a more guarded and emotionally centered place.
