One mother who bought tickets for her children to see One Direction's concert on Saturday was not a happy camper when she found out the tickets were fake.

Kirsty Speakman, who had presented three of her children with the tickets as a Christmas gift had to tell Harry, Katy, and Amber that they will be unable to attend One Direction's Take Me Home World Tour, according to Yahoo.

Speakman had bought the tickets off eBay, and when they never arrived, the family from Prenton Gardens, Norcross flipped. The tickets cost £270, or just over $350.

The unhappy mother told The Blackpool Gazette, "They're absolutely devastated. They can't believe it because they thought we were going to see One Direction and we've actually been conned by somebody horrible."

Speakman is trying to get her money back.

The family had used eBay in the past to sell items, but now the mother is skeptical about the site.

Kirsty, 32, and husband Phillip, 42, also have other children, 15-year-old Liam, Luke, 11, and three-year-old Lucy

An eBay spokesman said, "We were sorry to hear of the problem Ms Speakman has experienced... on the rare occasion that a problem does occur, eBay has established channels in place to help including a dedicated customer service team and eBay Buyer Protection programme."
