Doctor Who isn't ready to bid adieu to Twelve.
The BBC series is planning a change in leadership for season 11, and fans originally believed Steven Moffat's departure would signal the end of Peter Capaldi's iteration of the iconic Time Lord. Now, however, it appears as if Chris Chibnall's first season may continue to feature Twelve and his attack eyebrows.
"I've been asked to stay on, but it's such a long time before I have to make that decision" Capaldi informed the Radio Times.
Considering season 10 won't even begin to air until 2017, Capaldi isn't kidding when he says he has plenty of time to figure out his future. It appears his decision may hinge on what direction Chibnall is planning on taking the show.
"Steven's been absolutely wonderful, so I love working with him. Chris is fantastic, and I think he's a hugely talented guy," Capaldi explained. "I don't know where the show's gonna go then. I don't know. I have to make up my mind, and I haven't yet."
