They unfortunately never won in three different appearances on The Amazing Race, but cowboy brother Jet and Cord McCoy are hoping to now win something bigger-elections to the Oklahoma State Senate.

The brothers, retired bull riders who placed second on the 16th season of the reality competition series, sixth on the 18th season after they were U-Turned by Flight Time and Big Easy, and fifth on the 24th season following a U-Turn by Leo and Jamal, are both running for State Senate seats in Oklahoma, with the hope that they will be able to call themselves senators before they're over.

The brothers will have two very different races, with Jet facing off against three other Republicans and two Democrats for his seat, while Cord will need to snatch the nomination away from six-year incumbent state Rep. Donnie Condit in the June 28 primary, with a clearer path to victory with no Republican opponent. They both also have said that their time in the cattle business, as well as their experiences on the show give them a better perspective when it comes to the issues that could face potential constituents, because they've seen bigger ones around the world.

"I know how much we have to be thankful for," Cord told Yahoo News. "There's whole countries of people starving that don't get to step up on June 28 and vote."

If they win their respective nomination contests, the McCoy brothers are among a recent rash of reality campaigning for offices. Republican U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy was elected to Congress after an appearance on The Real World, while Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is well-known for his reality show The Apprentice.

Should they succeed in their campaigns, it would likely rule the pair ineligible to make a fourth attempt at winning The Amazing Race if another season featuring fan favorite teams were to be cast.
