Kate Middleton made her first on-camera charitable appeal for children's hospices in the United Kingdom.

In the video, which debuted on April 27, the pregnant duchess of Cambridge told viewers to support children's hospice week. The 31-year-old royal mom-to-be is shown wearing a black top with a white collar that barely showed her baby bump.

"In order to carry out this wonderful work, our help is needed. With our support, those providing children's palliative care can continue to offer these extraordinary service," she said. "I have been fortunate to see first hand the remarkable work that they do for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. It is simply transformational.

"Children's hospices provide lifelines to families at a time of unimaginable pain."

It's been two years since Middleton and Prince William's lavish wedding. The couple will reportedly celebrate their second wedding anniversary on Monday, the same day she is scheduled to pay a visit to Naomi Children's Hospital in Hampshire, England.

Middleton and Prince William have a lot to celebrate these days, as the duchess is scheduled to give birth to the couple's first child this summer. While neither has yet to confirm the sex of the baby, many recent reports suggested that Middleton was expecting a baby boy after the couple purchased a blue stroller.

A source told E! News that the particular color blue the couple chose is actually more of a lilac, and that people also purchase that color if they are expecting a girl or if they choose not to learn the sex of the baby until the child is born.

As regards to names for their child, Middleton said, "We have a short list for both [boy and girl] but it's very difficult. My friends keep texting me names."
