Love is hard to find, and it's even harder to maintain when you're mired in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Nevertheless, three Pretty Little Liars couples will emerge from the midseason finale with their hearts intact.

It's been a tumultuous year for Rosewood's most notorious clique, and, although we're nearly 20 episodes into the five-year time jump, the quintet's romantic pasts are still coming out in dribs and drabs. With Spoby and Haleb up in the air and Nicole's apparent resurrection, the future seems as murky as the past.

Showrunner Marlene King, however, dropped a teaser on Friday that will hopefully help illuminate the path forward.

"There are three sets of shippers that will be very happy with this finale," King told Entertainment Weekly.

In true Pretty Little Liars fashion, King's statement has our minds reeling. Who is the writer referring to? Is there a future for the Spencer (Troian Bellisario)/Toby (Keegan Allen) or Hanna (Ashley Benson)/Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) despite their current romantic estrangement? Will Paige's (Lindsey Shaw) return put an end to Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Sabrina (or stir up enough turmoil to pave the way for Emison)? What about Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding)? If Nicole is still alive, will her survival put the kibosh on Ezria's engagement? So many possibilities! Tell us which 'ships you're cheering for in the poll below!

Season 7A will come to an end on Aug. 30 with "The Darkest Knight."

"The Liars face off with their enemies in a chaotic fight that ends fatally," Freeform teased. "One of the PLLs learns a secret about her past that changes everything while another Liar discovers something about her future that could alter her course forever."
