Fare thee well, little Liars. As of Monday, season 7B has been confirmed as Pretty Little Liars' final run.

Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) have spent over a quarter of their lives looking over their shoulders. "A" and his/her minions are never far behind, and, no matter much of a buffer the girls put between themselves and Rosewood, their problems merely seem to multiply. Starting this April, the Liars will begin their final showdown with their mysterious nemesis.

After tomorrow's night's summer finale, which is awesome and spectacular, the next 10 episodes of this show really are going to be the last 10 episodes of the series," showrunner Marlene King told fans on Monday afternoon.

The writer assured viewers that PLL will leave viewers with its most impressive set of episodes yet.

"Everyone worked really hard, from the writers to the cast, to make sure that these last 10 episodes, every one sort of tops the other," King promised. "We're still saying it's the biggest, most romantic, most twisty-turny [season]."

Pretty Little Liars' leading ladies joined King in celebrating their loyal viewers while lamenting the "bittersweet" nature of the news.

"It's been such an amazing chapter of our lives and we're so glad that you guys could share it with us, but all good things must come to an end and these last 10 episodes are pretty crazy," Hale said.

On the upside, viewers will finally get the answers they've been waiting for. In fact, King can't "think of one question [7B doesn't] answer."

"Now we finally have to answer all your questions because we have to," Hale joked.
