The wesen of Portland can breathe a sigh of relief. Nick Burkhardt's days as the Grimm are numbered.
Grimm will return to NBC this January, but its short 13-episode run will put an end to the Scooby Gang's adventures. After 6 seasons, fuchsbaus, blutbads, and humans alike will have to bid farewell to the network's supernatural staple.
"Season 6 premieres Jan 6th. Grimm's Final Season. Will we go out with a group sob?? Probs," David Giuntoli (Nick) tweeted on Monday. "You have been the most splendid fans. See you in January. Love you all!"

Giuntoli wasn't the only cast member to lament the series' cancellation. Everyone from the Sasha Roiz to the Grimm writers posted farewell messages, but, even though actors and fans alike were saddened by the news, the cast balanced out the mourning with exciting teasers for the winter season.
6 seasons, 100+ eps, there were marriages, babies, & friendships were forged. If you have to go, go out like this. https://t.co/kVtDLkQfOd — The Grimm Writers (@GrimmWriters) August 29, 2016
