If I was Kate Middleton, I'd spend my life decked out in Alexander McQueen, Temperley and all the Roksanda shift dresses I could get my hands on. It's a good thing I'm not the Duchess of Cambridge, for I'd send the entire monarchy into bankruptcy.

Thankfully for the royal family's bank accounts, Kate Middleton is nothing like me and mainly wears J.Crew, Reiss and L.K. Bennett. She also does this wonderful thing where she wears things she owns more than once, which is way more charming and "common" than I ever would be if I had a title.

In her latest feat as the most stylish member of the royal family, Kate wore a pair of printed pants while at an event with William on Friday.

Here's the good news: The pants are from Gap. Even better news: The pants are $25. That's less than the cost of my daily Starbucks intake.

Now, some bad news: the pants are currently sold out. The pattern Kate wore doesn't seem to exist, either, though various other prints and solid colors are still available for purchase on the site.

If you want to pair your ankle-grazers the same way Kate did, great. But personally, I'd make them just a hair edgier. Really, it's a good thing I'm no Duchess.

You might not be able to get your hands on the $25 Gap pair, but this pair is still under $100. Score.

I'd pair the ankle pants with a leather bralette and a patent leather ankle boot. To take away some of that polish, I'd throw on an oversized denim jacket, and head out the door.

Sure, this look might be more up Prince Harry's alley than Prince William's, but I'm totally OK with that.
