Kristen Stewart recently sat down for an interview and candidly answered questions regarding her romantic relationship with former co-star, Robert Pattinson.

In an interview, Stewart revealed why her relationship with Pattinson never really worked out. According to People, the 26-year-old actress partly blamed the unwarranted media attention for the split with her former Twilight co-star.

KStew disclosed that, "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product." The actress then added that due to this, she felt like the relationship was no longer real. Stewart also added that she did not want to hide her relationship from the people. However, she also did not want the relationship to be reduced into a story for the sake of entertainment.

The "Certain Women" actress much publicized relationship with the 30-year-old actor ended in 2013. Prior to the break-up, Stewart was linked with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders. Pictures showing the actress kissing the married filmmaker emerged causing so much strain into the Robsten relationship.

Kristen admitted that she had learned from her previous mistakes and has grown from them. "It's not that they make you stronger or calloused - but they do make you human."

Currently, Kristen Stewart is busy promoting her new film "Certain Women" at the New York Film Festival, INQUISTR reported. KStew attended the premiere of the movie on Oct. 3 wearing a revealing burgundy suit.

Stewart is currently in a relationship with Alicia Cargile and when asked about it, the actress said that she is more willing to talk about it compared to her previous relationship. This is because her new romance gives a positive message regarding acceptance.

"Once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive," Stewart said. However, the actress still hopes to keep most of her romantic life private.
