Porsha Stewart seems to be moving on fine since her estranged husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce, as the reality tv actress landed her first acting role.

Porsha took to Twitter to express her excitement for her new role on The Rickey Smiley Show. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star uploaded pictures to her Instagram account of herself reading a script.

"I've arrived! So excited on the set of my first TV acting role! Thanks guys my trailer is amazing!" Porsha tweeted yesterday.

"Reading the script. This is going to be so fun!" Porsha wrote.

In the images posted, the actress glowed in a purple maxi dress and wore her hair straight down her back.

The Rickey Smiley Show is in Season 2 of the TV One series and fans will have the opportunity to find out if the the star can act. On the Housewives reunion show, Porsha debuted her singing talents when host Bravo host Andy Cohen asked her to sing acapella.

The reality TV star said she is still in the midst of a divorce with Kordell, despite rumors that the couple faked their divorce for publicity.

"It's just crazy. I mean, everyday I hear just the craziest thing about this situation online. For me, I just feel like that's the worst thing to possibly do is to play with marriage. It's already hard enough and for me, the situation is already so unfortunate, for people to say that it's fake, that's what hurts," she said.

Porsha said that although she is not with Kordell anymore, she is not searching for a new man.

"I'm not taking applications at this time; however, thank you for applying," Porsha said.

Porsha has been candid about her divorce and revealed that she found out about the filings on Twitter. She said Kordell was in the other room when she read the news on the Internet.

"I asked my husband ... had he filed, and just a long story short, I felt very disappointed and let down," she revealed to Cohen. "When I got married, I meant it for life. ... I was heartbroken."
