She was surprised when Quinn (Rena Sofer) offered the CEO position at Forrester to her, but after Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decision to accept it, Liam (Scott Clifton) will grow increasingly more concerned about what it could mean for her future on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Liam believes that the offer is being made solely because Quinn is trying to manipulate Steffy to reconsider her divorce from Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and he will go to Bill (Don Diamont) to share his concerns about what might happen to her when Quinn realizes there is no way Steffy will ever choose to be with Wyatt again.

"The plan will not work, Steffy and Wyatt are over," Liam says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Dec. 14 episode. "The question is, what happens when Quinn realizes that?"

Liam will be concerned that seeing Wyatt lose Steffy to him, for good this time, will push Quinn over the edge and back into the dangerous behaviors she exhibited in the past when she wanted to make sure things went in her son's favor. And if Steffy is the person who breaks Wyatt's heart, Liam is worried Quinn will focus her negative attentions on her.

"Steffy is literally in danger if she takes this job," he says.

Meanwhile, Steffy being given the position is also not sitting well within the Forrester family, specifically with her father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Rick (Jacob Young), who both feel the decision to give Steffy the position was to slight both of them, and has caused a rift between them and their father, and the situation is becoming one that is slightly frustrating Quinn because she doesn't want to cause more problems within the family.

"I want to be a force for peace in this family, not the opposite," she says to Eric (John McCook) in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
