It's Christmas Eve in Genoa City and a family feud is threatening to interrupt the celebration among the Abbott siblings on The Young and the Restless.

Things are still not going well between Jack (Peter Bergmann) and Billy (Jason Thompson) over Billy's affair with Jack's wife, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and the fact that Jack is still reacting to that betrayal with his attempts to evict Billy's company from Jabot, and that feud doesn't appear to have simmered down at all, meaning the family Christmas is in jeopardy. However, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) will still try their best to convince Billy to stay with them on Christmas Eve, in the hopes that when Jack arrives he'll be willing to still let Billy hang out as well.

"Just stay long enough to spend some time with your sisters on Christmas Eve, please?" Traci asks in a preview clip for the Thursday, Dec. 22 episode.

Before Jack heads to his sisters, he will actually have a run-in with Phyllis, and though he has encouraged her to move on and walk away from him, he may be stunned when she reveals she's finally ready to do so, and it could affect his moods towards his brother even more.

"You're really at the point where you're ready to walk away?" He asks in the clip.

"It's alright. It's what's best for both of us," she replies.

Fresh off that encounter, Jack will not be any more welcoming to Billy being there for Christmas than he was before, and will remind his brother he isn't wanted there. And despite the objections his sisters have to the fight not being suspended for the holiday, Billy will take the cue from Jack and leave, taking the present he had brought for his brother with him. And as Jack sits down to dinner with Ashley and Traci, Billy will find himself alone and at a bar.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
