This month, medical romantic drama series, Grey's Anatomy, is returning with brand new episodes from season 13. Ever since the series aired its midseason finale on November last year, fans have already been anticipating the upcoming episodes that could surely take them to a new level of television drama.
Loyal viewers have been looking forward to the scenarios that could happen to the lives of their favorite characters. Several updates and speculations have been appearing online regarding to the possible events that could occur once the series returns.
The midseason finale left with Camilla Luddington's character, Jo Wilson, admitting to Alex Karev, portrayed by Justin Chambers, that she has been trying to stay under the radar because of the fear that her abusive former husband would find her. This made Alex turn himself to protect Jo and cancel her as a witness.
According to a report from TV Guide, during an interview, actress Camilla Luddington said that she actually like it the Alex and Jo end up together. Jo kind of has this optimistic moment with Alex, and ... I think that there's this hope at the end of it. He reacted in such an understanding way that maybe there's a possibility there for a future."
However, Luddington added that the two characters' relationship is admittedly messy, but there is still hope for them as the show will apparently have a dramatic turn, as usual.
It was also reported before that because the actress is pregnant in real life, there might be a possibility that her character on the series might get pregnant too. However, the actress said that she highly doubts that her pregnancy would take part on the upcoming episodes of Grey's Anatomy.
A report from Entertainment Weekly suggested that the father of Jesse William's character, Jackson Avery, will get introduced on an upcoming episode of the thirteenth season. Actress Sarah Drew, who portrays Jackson's former wife, April, also revealed that another episode which will tackle the relationship between Jackson and April will be shown.
Grey's Anatomy season 13 episode 10, is set to air on January 26, 2017 on ABC.
