Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: Actress Visits Taylor Swift After Latest Break-Up
In the wake of her most recent split with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart has taken shelter with another young woman who knows a thing or two about break-ups: singer Taylor Swift.
US Weekly reports that Stewart has been hanging out at Swift's Beverly Hills home, with a magazine source claiming she was driven there and spent most of the day before returning to her own home.
Photos of the actress smiling out from a friend's car on Monday were also obtained by the website PopSugar.
Stewart and Pattinson, the magazine reported last Friday, are taking a break from their four-year relationship. Sources close to Pattinson say the couple had been fighting intensely lately, with tensions hitting their apex around Pattinson's birthday on May 13.
The friction between Stewart and Pattinson is likely residual from last summer's cheating scandal, in which Stewart was seen kissing her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders in a Los Angeles park. The incident forced the normally reserved actress to make an emotional public statement on the matter.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," the actress wrote in a statement last July. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Pattinson was photographed moving his belongings out of the home he and Stewart shared.
"She tried, they both tried," a source told the magazine. "They're both good people. It was just not the right thing for either of them right now."
Sanders and his wife, model Liberty Ross, are no longer together; Ross filed divorce papers in January.
Stewart and Swift are not necessarily known to be friendly, but they do share camaraderie with Twilight franchise alum Taylor Lautner. Swift dated Lautner briefly in 2009, but the two appear to have remained friends.
Swift's own relationships have played out publicly and have often provided fodder for her songs. The singer has had numerous famous boyfriends, including actor Jake Gyllenhaal and singers John Mayer and Harry Styles.
