Ony a day after Nokia 6 was officially launched on China Flash Sale and sold like pancakes, a smartphone named Nokia 8 has made an appearance online. The Finnish brand has been absent for a long time such that many in the smartphone world were delighted. Expected to be launched at MWC next month, this alleged smartphone comes with specifications for Nokia fans to get excited about.

The presumptively named Nokia 8 is expected to arrive with two variants. One is a premium model with a SnapDragon 835, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, microSD card support, and a 24-megapixel camera with electronic and optical image stabilization. The other lower-priced Nokia 8 variant would come with a SnapDragon 821, 4 GB of RAM and a smaller camera.

The physical shape of the device apparently matches that of the. When Nokia 6 was launched, it leaned heavily on the design that was fashioned from a single block of metal for a luxury feel. That may also exist once more in the Nokia 8.

Additional physical buttons suggests a model of a higher portfolio. While there are no branding images visible on the device, there is to be seen one signature element common to older Nokia handsets. The camera on the rear of the unit with its distinctive round housing and raised bulge that reflects the Nokia Lumia 1020 PureView.

The Nokia 8 is tipped to sport a 12-megapixel shooter for taking selfies and dual speakers are expected to be at front as well. It is said to include Carl Zeiss optics, just like some of the earlier Nokia phones. A HRM sticker may further suggest that there might be a functional heart-rate monitor available with the phone.

The figure seems to be pretty similar to that of recently launched Nokia 6 smartphone. As these are all leaks, only the company's official announcement will confirm these reports regarding the Nokia 8, however.
