All aboard for Louis Vuitton's 2012 fall collection!

Marc Jacobs' fashion show for Vuitton pulled into the station -- literally -- aboard a blue antique steam engine at the Louvre today, providing a spectacular wrap to Paris Fashion Week.

It was all smoke and whistles as the hand-built train parked in the museum's courtyard, which had been transformed into a train station. Models stepped off to present the collection, followed by white-gloved porters carrying Vuitton bags and hat boxes.

The jaw-dropping presentation wowed celebs and fashion critics alike.

"It was cinema, it was beautiful," Sex and the City fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker told AFP. "The whole thing is a massive triumph."

The Guardian's fashion editor, Jess Cartner-Morley, proclaimed the production "one of the most extravagant, glamorous catwalk shows Paris fashion has ever seen."

Producer Harvey Weinstein summed it up in a few words: "He's a genius."

The line features dresses over cigarette pants, flared skirts, high hats, jeweled buttons, and of course, signature Vuitton bags.
