A lot of fans are now probably asking: Is Eminem working on a new album for the year 2017? If recent reports are to be taken accurate, the answer for it would be yes. But sadly, the Detroit rapper has yet to release any official statements.

According to former Shady Records MC, Stat Quo, whose real name is Stanley Benton, Eminem is indeed working on the next project. On his talk with Hip Hop DX, Benton seemingly revealed that he is still in close communication with people behind the scene. And he casually dropped that the rap legend has started his work on the unannounced album in his studio.

Stat Quo talked a lot on the interview including his opinion with the Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma beef. However, what got many fans' attention probably is the name dropping of veteran producer, Mr. Porter, Heavy reported. "Denaun called me yesterday [when] him and Em were working on the album and he was telling me," he said.

Unfortunately, Stat Quo did not go into other details as to what can be expected in the Eminem album 2017. But there have been some reports lately speculating on who might collaborate with the "Rap God" singer. Some of the artists that have been mentioned on Radio are 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Lana Del Rey, Imagine Dragons and Vince Staples.

As what fans may recall, Dr. Dre helped Eminem during his early days as a rapper. 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, on the other hand, is the longtime friend of the Detroit rapper. Both artists have collaborated with the "Monster" rapper in the past, which makes them the more likely candidates.

It should be noted that these are unofficial and have yet to confirmed. With that being said, it's highly advisable to take these with a pinch of salt and consider them as mere rumors until proven otherwise. More news about the Eminem new album 2017 should surface in the coming months.
