Rumors of Kate Middleton in labor sparked after Queen Elizabeth abruptly exited a cricket match Thursday.

According to E! News, eyewitnesses said The Queen arrived to the event at Lords about 15 minutes late.  The 87-year-old grandmother of Prince William reportedly met with the Australian and English teams before the Ashes test match.

She only stayed for about and hour, and left suddenly without a proper warning. Her exit fueled rumors that she had to leave early to be present for the birth of William and Middleton's first child.

Other reports indicated she left early because of the scorching heat temperatures, which may have not been good for her health.

The Queen previously said that although she is excited for her great-grandchild, she hopes that the little boy or girl can arrive sooner than later so that she go on with her annual summer vacation which is planned for this weekend.

When asked an update on the baby by a group of schoolchildren at an appearance in Lake Windermere in Cumbria on July 17, The Queen said that there has been "no sign yet," of the new addition.

"I would very much like it to arrive. I'm going on holiday," The Queen said.

While Middleton's reported date was July 13, a source told The Telegraph that the Duchess is actually Friday, July 19.

'A small number of staff at St Mary's who might be called upon when the Duchess gives birth were told they had to remain teetotal for a month before the due date., the source said. "They were told the due date was July 19."

Several media outlets have been camped outside of St. Mary's hospital for weeks, but later reports indicated that she might give birth at Royal Berkshire hospital which is closer to her parents house--where she is staying now.
