Britney Spears  questioned why she can't hold her marriage in church when it is supposed to be for people.

The awad-winning singer took to Instagram, shared her awe in  a catholic church, revealing that she wanted to have her wedding to Sam Asghari in St. Monica church  but allegedly, Spears request was declined because of church rules and was asked to be converted first.

"They said I had to be catholic and go through a TEST !!!! Isn't church supposed to be open to all."

The "Baby One More Time" singer, who was raised Southern Baptist, married her husband Asghari in front of a slew of celebrity guests at the star's Thousand Oaks estate in June.

It comes after the denied request of the singer from a catholic church.

The star, then elaborates that St. Monica is the church she really wanted to get married to during COVID pandemic

However. since the request of the church is not convenient because  the process will take some time, the singer of "Sometimes" decided to hold her wedding ceremony at her place with guests like Madonna and Paris Hilton.

Other guests are Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, and Donatella Versace, who created Spears' wedding dress; they were among the celebrities that attended the fairytale wedding.

The couple met in October 2016 and announced their relationship in January the following year. They got engaged in September 2021 after dating for nearly five years.

As she posted her thoughts about catholic rules, some of her fans reacted and commented, some are educating her while some are defending the singer.

"Giiiirrll this is a MESS! To get married in the Catholic Church, yes you have to be catholic it's not just a random venue," one follower explained, followed by another explaining the process of how to get married in Catholic church and that rule is always been "that" way and then another one wrote, "Some traditions need to be respected Britney," 

Spears and husband Asghari previously shared their heartbreak when the singer suffered miscarriage after announcing pregnancy in April but the couple confirmed that they will try again in continuing to expand their "beautiful" family.
