'The Flash' star finally issues an apology amidst their erratic behavior during the past months and admits that they are seeking treatment for "complex mental health issues".

Ezra Miller, who goes by pronounce they/them, has been surrounded by controversies during past months, and has been arrested for the third time this year, counting their most recent charge with felony burglary.

A representative of the actor gave a statement to Variety that Miller has broken their silence on their troubling behavior, which has led to numerous legal allegations for the past years. The DC star apologized for their actions in the statement.

"Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment," Miller stated. "I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life."

The actor had been arrested two times this year in Hawaii. The first one for disorderly conduct, as they were allegedly involved in a physical altercation and yelled profanities at civilians in a karaoke bar. The second one was for second-degree assault, as Miller had thrown a chair at a 26-year-old woman in a private gathering.

On September 26, Miller is due to appear for arraignment in Vermont Superior Court after being cited for felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont. Authorities said that Miller had taken several bottles of alcohol from a residence while the homeowners were not present at that time.

Now What Happens to 'The Flash'?

Miller played the role of superhero speedster Flash in Zach Synder's "Justice League." The actor is set to star in the upcoming "The Flash" film, but their recent legal allegations and erratic behavior has raised fans' concern on whether the film should be released. 

As of today, no representatives from Warner Bros. have given any comment to Ezra Miller's string of legal allegations, but the last update from Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav suggests that they remain committed to releasing "The Flash" next year. The film had reportedly wrapped production last fall and is currently set to hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
