With Amy Schumer's recent lifestyle procedures out of the bag, her friend Jennifer Lawrence speaks out on her reaction to the supposed "secret".

In a recent interview with The New Yorker, the actress-comedian opened up about her journey and lifestyle changes regarding her parenthood. While discussing her recent social media posts about getting plastic surgery, she recalls her friend Jennifer Lawrence who shared their funny reaction.

"When she got liposuction, I just assumed that would be a secret. And then... it wasn't!" Lawrence had said. "It's a part of her-I hate using this word-relatability. In some ways, it's benefitted her. Look at her obviously successful career."

In an Instagram post, the 41 year old actress shared her lifestyle journey of liposuction, acupuncture, and getting her Endometriosis treated. Schumer Reveals Reason Behind Health Adjustments

While her friend Jennifer Lawrence was initially surprised at the post reveals, she praised Schumer for her "relatability" as the comedian always keeps it honest and real. During her guest appearance on the "Making Space with Hoda KOTB" podcast, Schumer expressed that it was in her nature to be honest about her lifestyle changes instead of keeping the expensive procedures a secret.

"I wanted to share it with people, just because I can't lie about myself. I just can't do it. I can't be like, "Yeah, crunches. And I've just been eating smoked salmon," you know? So I had to be real." Schumer said. "I just wanted to be honest about it, rather than someone saying, "Gosh, she looks like she lost some weight."

During the interview, Schumer also acknowledged her privilege on being able to afford the expensive treatments, and said that she initially felt bad for other people. However, for her, being honest about her journey is her way of accepting her privilege.
