Kylie Cosmetics a 'Scam'? 'RHONY' Alum Bethenny Frankel Exposes Misleading Beauty Product

"Real Housewives of New York" alum Bethenny Frankel takes a swipe at Kylie Cosmetics' latest PR packaging.

Bethenny Frankel is an actress whose career dates back to 1992 doing small acting gigs and working as a personal assistant in productions. Additionally, the reality star started out as a nanny to Paris Hilton. She, later on, rose to fame in 2008 as a cast member of the Bravo reality television series, "The Real Housewives of New York City".

Bethenny Exposes Kylie Cosmetics 'Scam'

In a recent viral Instagram post, the reality star reviewed Kylie Cosmetics' latest products, the Birthday Bundle, and Birthday PR Box, which cost $58 and $175 respectively. However, the reality star is shocked to reveal that the items contain the exact same beauty products, with a whopping $117 more for the PR box. Both items contain a three-piece Lip Crayon Set and Lip Gloss Set.

"I just want to know, how stupid do we have to be?" Bethenny ranted in her Instagram video. "Okay, I mean I'm a sucker, I like it, I like the packaging, I like the stuff, but you know, where you lose me is when you scammed me!"

While the 51-year-old philanthropist did not say anything negative about the beauty products, she expressed her dismay at the misleading packaging comedically, captioning the post with: "Anyone in the market for a $117 cardboard box???"

Opting to return the Birthday PR box, she, later on, expressed her outrage at how Kylie Cosmetics did not allow any returns. Fans took to the comments section to echo her sentiments, with one user even responding: "And that is why Kylie beauty doesnt take returns: its all a scam!"

Not The First Swipe at the Kardashians

Notably, this isn't the first time that Bethenny Frankel threw shade at the Kardashian family. Frankel called out the "Keeping up with the Kardashian" stars in a past Instagram post where she emphasized the importance of laying off photoshop and filtering.

The Kardashian-Jenner family has been known for numerous photoshop fails over the years. Additionally, Frankel called out Kim Kardashian's skin care line, "SKKN by Kim" in a viral TikTok where she called the brand "impractical" and "overpriced".
