Madonna Rushed to Hospital After Being Found Unconscious: This Is What We Know

Madonna has been rushed to the hospital following an intense bacterial infection.

On Saturday, musical icon Madonna was rushed to the hospital where she was quickly intubated. The star is still in the hospital now. She was found unconscious and unresponsive. Fans learned of her condition through an Instagram post made to her manager Guy Oseary's page. This post not only addressed the singer's health but her planned Celebration Tour as well. The statement read:

"On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and rescheduled shows."

According to a source that spoke to Page Six, Madonna is on the mend. The source said that, "She is still under medical care. a Full recovery is expected." While this ordeal was nothing less than traumatic, we are glad to know that Madonna had loved ones to support her during this time. According to Page Six, her daughter, Lourdes Leon was with her mother the entire time.

We hope Madonna has a speedy and successful recovery. We are glad that she was able to recieve appropriate medical attention in time.
