BamBam's "Area 52" U.S. concert is no longer happening this February.

Abyss Company has released an official statement saying the GOT7 member's U.S. tour had been canceled due to the artist's worsening ankle injury, Soompi reported.

"We were excited about the upcoming U.S. tour and had been preparing a new song to be performed in the U.S. for the first time. However, the artist's ankle worsened while practicing for the new song," the agency's statement read.

"After numerous discussions, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the U.S. tour, as continuing with the original schedule was deemed inappropriate for the well-being of the artist," Abyss continued.

The agency also apologized to the fans and stated that all show tickets and VIP packages will be fully refunded.

Following his agency's statement, BamBam took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his personal apology to his fans, called Bammies.

"I'm sorry for letting you down. All I want is to bring a new special gift to all the U.S. fans and want to surprise everyone with my new song," he wrote.

The 26-year-old K-Pop idol continued, "I should've cared about my health more, and I know how you guys support 'AREA 52' in every way. I'm sorry, Bammies."

The South Korea-based Thai rapper-singer's tweet has since been retweeted over 17,000 times. It also received over 7,000 responses from fans.

"Your health is the first priority for us, BamBam. Please take care of your health and get well soon," one fan tweeted.

"Please don't feel bad! Your health is [the] top priority. We hope you'll recover soon and come back to us better than ever. For now, take care of yourself," wrote another.

A third user commented, "We're crushed, of course, but if you performed and did even more harm to yourself, we would be devastated. I'll put my ahgabong away and use it when you can reschedule hopefully. Take care of yourself above all else, Bam!"

"I'm so so sad. I made custom shoes and a jacket for the show. Ugh. Feel better, Bam. I'll be in the corner crying," a fan stated, wishing for the K-Pop idol's speedy recovery despite feeling sad about the canceled show.

BamBam announced the U.S. leg of his "AREA 52" world tour on Dec. 7, per NME. He was supposed to play six concerts from Feb. 10 to 24 across five locations, including Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago.

His "AREA 52" world tour kicked off a few months after he released his solo debut studio album "Sour & Sweet" in March 2023.
