A TikTok user's story about her marriage with a man she called a "pathological liar" has gone viral, captivating social media users.

In a riveting 50-part TikTok series titled "Who TF Did I Marry?," an Atlanta-based woman named Reesa Teesa opened up about meeting, dating, marrying, and divorcing her unnamed ex-husband, along with the lies he told her throughout their relationship.

Teesa began her tale on Valentine's Day, stating, "I'm going to be truthful, even if it makes me look bad. I'm going to be honest, but I'm also not going to be disrespectful to anyone that was involved."

The saga began in March 2020 when Teesa met the man she dubbed "Legion," based on a biblical story about demons, on Facebook's dating app.

When Teesa's tire blew out on her way to their first date, she said Legion came to her rescue. They later hit it off during dinner.

According to the TikTok user, Legion presented himself as a former arena football player turned regional manager at a popular condiment company in Georgia. He claimed to have attended college in California and told Teesa he had a police officer father, a mother who was a former teacher, and several siblings and half-brothers.

Teesa shared that Legion also claimed he moved to Georgia due to a vice president promotion that allegedy included benefits such as housing and a BMW company car.

As Teesa's story unfolded, however, viewers eventually discovered that Legion's background was a web of lies.

After they "established [they] were dating for marriage," Teesa said their relationship quickly progressed to quarantining together at her home during the lockdown.

They then began searching for a home to purchase together, with Legion claiming he was approved for a mortgage.

However, Legion's mortgage pre-approval turned out to be doctored, and his promises of a luxury car and a vacation to London proved to be fabrications.

The climax came when, after marrying Legion in January 2021, Teesa's background check revealed his alleged use of a false social security number.

This led to the discovery that he was allegedly a former felon and had lied about his job.

Teesa promptly filed for divorce, kicked him out of their home, and ended communication.

Teesa said she also learned that Legion had been married multiple times in the past and had falsely claimed to friends and relatives that they had a newborn son and accepted gifts for the nonexistent child despite Teesa having miscarried.

According to Teesa, Legion also brought her to a grave site he said belonged to his grandparents but turned out to be a random family with the same last name.

The series, which concluded Friday, sparked widespread reactions on social media, with users praising Teesa for her courage and storytelling.

"Me working and listening to the 'Who TF Did I Marry' series like it's my morning podcast," wrote one user on X, formerly Twitter.

"Just canceled my Netflix subscription and dropped out of school just to focus on this," one TikTok user commented on one of her videos.

The compelling narrative has led to discussions about turning it into a movie or series, with users suggesting filmmakers like Tyler Perry, Issa Rae, Shonda Rhimes, or Ava Duvernay to bring the tale to life.

"I'm sorry that 'Who TF Did I Marry' story time on TikTok ... she needs to copyright it before they turn it into a movie 'cause I know Netflix is taking NOTES," one X user wrote.
