During a recent interview in Australia, Katy Perry claimed that rock legend Mick Jagger hit on her before her career skyrocketed.

While talking to DJs Ash, Kip and Luttsy on Nova FM, the 29-year-old pop sensation revealed that she had worked with the Rolling Stones' lead singer many years ago, signing back-up for his 2004 single, Old Habits Die Hard, Celebrity-Gossip reported.

"I actually went to dinner with (Jagger) one time, and he hit on me when I was like 18!"

Realizing what she just said, the Roar musician tried to quickly defuse the situation.

"That was a long time ago, and since then he's been very kind and I got to sing Beasts of Burden on their stage with him on their tour on the Rolling Stone tour."

When asked how you turn down Jagger, the artist quickly quipped, "you bring a friend." 

Even though The Roling Stones singer has a reputation for hypnotizing women throughout the years, the 70-year-old claims that he's never hit on the Perry.

Jaggers's rep has now denied Perry's allegations, saying, "Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry. Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.''

Perry was in the Land Down Under to promote her new album Prism on Australia's version of The X Factor.

Perry was married to actor and comedian, Russell Brand. The singer has been reported to be back with in a relationship, with her on-off boyfriend John Mayer, according to W Magazine.

"I'm actually am dating my crush. I had a crush on him for a long time," Perry said.
