On an upcoming episode of Once Upon a Time, viewers should expect to be introduced to a crucial character for Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison).

It was recently announced that Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs, Ugly Betty) will be guest starring on the 12th episode of Once Upon a Time as an "important character in the life of Emma Swan." The news came from Entertainment Weekly, who reported that while Gorham's appearance on the show may be brief, it may lead to future appearances in later episodes.

TVLine reported on the news of Gorham's casting as well, and predicted that he would be playing an older version of Henry (Jared Gilmore). Entertainment Weekly commenters agree that Gorham as older Henry seems like a logical assumption.

Once Upon a Time Spoilers: Musical Episode Coming Soon? 

In other Once Upon a Time spoiler news, viewers will finally learn the story behind Regina (Lana Parrilla) adopting Henry in the next episode of the series. ABC released a promotional photo of the upcoming episode, titled Save Henry, which shows Regina holding a baby Henry in the past.

Meanwhile, in the present, Emma, Regina and the rest of the gang will try their hardest to save Henry from the clutches of the evil Peter Pan (Robbie Kay). The trailer for the upcoming episode features someone putting Henry's heart back into his body, indicating that the gang should be successful in their plan.

Once Upon a Time season 3 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
