Real Housewives of Atlanta's breakout star NeNe Leakes admitted that she misses her original cast members on Good Morning America Wednesday.

The Glee actress said, "I never thought in a million years that I would say this, but I kind of miss the old girls a little bit."

She didn't say it to spite the cast members she has now, but she opened up about a bond that the first set of girls had.

"The deal is, we started together, and it was like a journey that we had together, so I miss them in that way."

Leakes is currently the only Atlanta housewife on the Bravo franchise that has been on the series since the first season.Cast member Kandi Burruss joined the cast in the second season while Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey came in the third. Newcomers Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams joined in the fifth. The show is currently airing its sixth season.

During an interview with Sway Calloway for Serius XM radio show Sway In The Morning, published on Sept. 18, Leakes said, "I am the original housewife standing, so that should tell you a lot."

She credited not losing herself as the reason why she is still on the show.

"Staying true to who I am has brought me so far. I've never been the type of girl to use people to get where I wanted to go, I probably could have gotten here a lot sooner, I just waited for my time."
