Kim Kardashian revealed that she almost had a change of heart about her blonde hair for the new year. 

The 33-year-old Keeping Up With Kardashians reality star has been using social media site Mobio to connect with her fans, an outlet that she says "feels real and easy."

When a fan asked her about her blonde hair, Kardashian admitted that she almost dyed her long locks a different color. 

"How long do you think you will keep your hair blonde?" a fan asked the reality star. 

Kardashian answered, "I'm not sure. I had the urge to go dark today when I was at the salon but I finally got the color blonde so good, I want to wait a little longer. I go back and forth all the time on what color I want my hair."

Kardashian's hair stylist, George Papanikolas told HollywoodLife.com that her blonde is not the easiest shade to make. 

"If you have dark hair, and you want Kim's look, you will usually need to lighten your base color, and then get highlights.  It also usually requires several sessions to get it from dark to light. I never recommend doing it in one session. You get the best results over several months, and you need to factor in the financial and time commitments to maintain a lighter color," he said. 

Meanwhile, it seems as if Kim and Kanye kept their New Year's celebrations low key, as she tweeted on Tuesday, "Nothing better than spending it with family and friends playing board games ;-)"
